Frequently Asked Questions
What are your fees?
$225 for a 50 minute individual session
$250 for a 50 minute couple or family session
I reserve a limited number of spots in my schedule for sliding scale fees, and when possible I will work with you to find a way to make therapy financially sustainable. If you do not think you can afford my full fee, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Do you take insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider and do not directly bill insurance for treatment. However, if you have a PPO, I can provide a super bill that you could submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. A super bill is a detailed record of paid services that you submit to your insurance and they may or may not reimburse a percentage back. Please be aware that providing a super bill to your insurance company will require a diagnosis.
How do I know if we are a good fit?
It’s hard to know if you’re going to work well with someone or not. I will help you check in with yourself to see if we feel like a right fit! It’s so important to have this decision come from you, and I believe the client/therapist relationship is the most important component of therapy, therefore I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation prior to scheduling the initial session to help you determine if I am the right fit for you and to answer any questions you may have.
How does virtual therapy work?
I provide virtual therapy to individuals living in California. I offer phone and video sessions using a HIPAA compliant teletherapy platform that makes going to therapy easy and accessible.
